This year HMS students are offered pre-engineering classes in grades 5-8.   Students in grades 5 & 6 will learn to work effectively with others, understand the engineering, problem-solving process, keep an engineering notebook, and study robotics and programming using LEGO robots.

Seventh grade GTT students explore precision measurement, learn about engineering drawing, 3-D modeling using Autodesk Inventor, and prototype design & construction. 

Eighth graders will expand their knowledge of Autodesk Inventor, explore space and flight by designing, building, and launching rockets & gliders.  Students will also design, build, and program task oriented robots and research and present information related to their studies.
