2011 Blazin' Chameleons Track Information Upcoming Event All Comers Meet Family, Faculty, and Fun
Please join the 2011 Blazin’ Chameleons Track Team for the first ever All Comers Meet – March 26th at Goose Creek High School track – 8:00 to around 1:00. Events for all ages …toddlers through Grandparents will be offered. Make sure you bring lunch and plenty to drink – there is no water available on the track. Restroom facilities will be available. Wear your running/work out gear and come ready to participate. This is how the All Comers meet will work: · Sign up for up to 3 events at the Registration Table when you arrive at the track · You will be given a sticker to write your events and age group…wear it so that you can remember your events…(adult age groups…18–29, 30–50, 50 +) (Kids age groups…4 and under, 5-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17) · Find a place in the “home team” stands · When your event is called on the loud speaker proceed to the starting line and listen carefully to directions · At the end of your race you will be given a place ticket · Take your place ticket to the awards table to receive your ribbon · You will be given a safety pin…pin your awards on your shirt · Please do not allow children to run up and down the bleacher steps…this is dangerous… · Parent/Child relays must have 2 adults and 2 children. Children should run the 2nd and 4th legs of the relay. · If you would like to help with an event please let us know at the registration table · Remember the Blazin’ Chamleon motto “Run Hard…Play Fair…Nobody Hurt” (bodies or feelings) · Cheer for your friends…Have Fun… We are looking forward to seeing you at the First of what we hope will be the Annual Blazin’ Chameleons All Comers Meet!
